The TCS Amsterdam Marathon holds the World Athletics Platinum Label and has for many years featured one of the fastest courses in the world.
In the ranking of the world’s fastest marathon cities, the largest marathon in the Netherlands takes seventh place. Highlights of the course include the start and finish in the Olympic Stadium, the passage under the Rijksmuseum and past the Heineken Experience, the scenic kilometers along the Amstel River, and the loop through Vondelpark.
