OVpay: easily check in and out with your debit card
Traveling on public transport and paying for your ride has never been easier. Simply check in and out with your debit card, credit card or mobile phone. Buying a ticket in advance is no longer necessary. The cost of your public transport ride is debited from your account at the end of the day. Read all about OVpay.
GVB Group Day Ticket
Are you traveling with several people and not everyone has a debit card? Then buy the inexpensive GVB Group Day Ticket in Gappie the GVB app. With this ticket you travel with up to 5 people all day with all GVB streetcars, buses and subways. More about the GVB app and how to download it.
Train
The Olympic Stadium is within walking distance of Amsterdam Zuid station. Just follow the signs. Make sure to check the NS Reisplanner for actual depart- and arrival times. On weekends, work is regularly done on the train track. The work on the train track can be viewed on the NS Reisplanner 10 days before the travel date. Check your trip again shortly before departure for the most up-to-date advice.

Are you coming from the direction of Flevoland, Utrecht, Leiden or Schiphol? Then travel by train to Amsterdam Zuid station. From there you continue with Metro 50 in the direction of 'Isolatorweg' (departs every 10 minutes). Get off at the 'Amstelveenseweg' stop. Or follow the walking route from Amsterdam Zuid station to the Olympic Stadium.

Are you coming from the direction of Rotterdam, The Hague, Alkmaar, Zaandam and Hoorn? Then travel to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. From there, take Metro 50 in the direction of 'Gaasperplas' (departs every 10 minutes). Get off at the 'Amstelveenseweg' stop.

Do not forget to bring your OV chip card with you with sufficient credit. Don't have an OV chip card yet? You can purchase a personal OV-chipkaart via NS.nl/ovchipkaart or buy an anonymous OV-chipkaart at the station. Avoid long waiting times at the ticket machine by charging your balance on time.

Tip! You can also buy your ticket online in advance, so you don't have to queue on the day itself. You can do this in the NS ticket shop. This prevents long queues at the machines.
Bike
Are you coming to the Olympic Stadium by bike? Then you can store your bike in the bicycle shed on the IJsbaanpad close to the Na-Druk-Geluk-Brug.
