Kids Run Olympic Quarter

The Kids Run will take place during the TCS Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday October 16, 2022. This 800 meter run is for children aged 4 to 13 years. The start is behind the stadium, near the Cruyff Court with a pleasant course through the Olympic Quarter. A maximum of 1,000 children can participate in the Kids Run.

Registration

The registration fee for the Kids Run 800 meters is € 3.50 per child.

Registration is possible until Monday October 3, 2022

Registration Kids Run


On Thursday 13, Friday 14 and Saturday 15 October it is possible to buy a bib number at the Helpdesk at the Marathon Expo. The late registration fee is € 5.00 per participant (including chip). Late registration is no longer possible on the day itself (Sunday).

Course

A pleasant 800 meters course has been set out throught the Olympic Quarter. Did you know that all the street names in this neighborhood are named after Greek goddesses? Parents can stand all along the course to encourage the kids. For children aged 4, 5 and 6 (last starting section), parents are allowed to run along. If you are older, your parents may take you to the start area and pick you up at the finish.

Finish and medal

The finish is on the Afroditekade, where you will receive your well-deserved medal. You can finish until 10.45 hours.

Children's party

Once you'hve finished running, there are lot more fun things to do. You can have your face painted or jump on the bouncy castles. There will also be a children's disco.

Fanzone Olympic Stadium

Do you also want to encourage the top athletes in the Olympic Stadium before or after the Kids Run? Then you are most welcome at the special Kids Run Fan Zone! Cheer your favorite to the finish. The first top athletes will cross the finish line around 11.00 hours. And maybe you'll see who will be the new Dutch Champion for the marathon? Access is from grandstand I/J, accessible from the Kids Square (Cruyff Court).
